Half-price 2019 Deal

Creative Maths is offering a half-price deal for subscription for the rest of 2019. The deal applies to teacher subscription, now $55 per teacher, and site licences. Contact Shane for details or a quote.

Pricing

For the rest of 2019 we are offering half price subscription until the end of the year. The deal applies to teacher subscription and site licences. Teacher subscription is now $55 for each teacher. Site licences are also half-price and will generally work out to be $5-$7 per student.

Site licenses offer access for a number of students and teachers at a single price. Pricing depends on student numbers and levels. For a 50+ student site license the cost generally works out to be $9-$13 per student.

An 80-student site license allows free teacher access for any number of teachers. Smaller site licenses restrict the number of free teacher accounts.

Site licences can be adapted to meet the needs of your school. For example, if you have students taking only a few statistics standards.

All teachers have access to the teacher materials. They may assign activities to students for homework or in class, or work through the material as a class. Resources available include videos, databases, quizzes, step-by-step, notes, writing guides and worksheets, including all scholarship materials. Teachers may print out and distribute notes, writing guides and worksheets. Teachers can monitor their student's progress on the site. Teachers also have access to the forums and teaching help.

Students have individual access to the materials at home and at school, including scholarship materials. They can watch the videos, access databases and work through quizzes and step-by-steps individually. Students also have direct access to the notes and writing guides. Students can track their own progress and earn badges.

This option for the site licence allows your students to watch StatsLC videos through your LMS. This avoids the need for students to have StatsLC accounts.

This option requires your school to embed the videos in your LMS. We provide the details for this. Under this option we cannot offer viewing statistics on a per student basis. But you are likely to have that information through your school’s LMS.

Please contact Dr Nic for more information.

Teachers are signed up for the year. Some students may also be signed up through the school or individually.

Teachers have access to the teacher materials, including all scholarship materials. They can show the videos or work through the quizzes or step-by-step activities as a class. Teachers may also print out and distribute notes, writing guides and worksheets to their students. They have access to the forums and teaching help.

Individual students may choose to sign up to allow them individual access to the materials. Signed up students can track their own progress and earn badges.

For 2020 the price is $110 for each teacher or $880 for all teachers at a school. Individual student sign up is an additional $27 per level 3 student, $16 per level 2 student and $10 per level 1 student. For 2019 subscriptions, the Half-Price Deal applies.

Teachers and classes may request two months free-trial access. Free-trials for classes can run at any time during Terms 1 to 3. You can choose the timing to best match your teaching. Teacher free-trials can run at any time. A free-trial provides full access to Statistics Learning Centre materials, but for a limited time.

Teachers can simply send us an email requesting free-trial access providing the names and email addresses of teachers needing free trial accounts. Email Shane via the StatsLC Help-desk help@CreativeMaths.net.

To sign up a class for free-trial access, see the Enrolling Classes section below for details.

Over the summer break we offer free access to teachers to review our materials and plan for the next year. During this period we may be upgrading and making changes to the site and materials. Email Shane help@CreativeMaths.net to ask for summer access.

Enrolling Classes and Teachers

To sign up teachers or students as paid or free-trial accounts use the following spreadsheet: SchoolList.xls

For students provide their name, NCEA level, class and teacher. Email addresses are useful but not required.

For teachers provide their name, email address and, if known, indicate whether they have an existing account.  Where teachers have a short code for their classes, please let us know so that we can more easily match up teachers to their classes.

Once the accounts are ready to use we contact teachers individually with their login details and provide a list with student account details.
